Enhanced Report Processing Through a Datamart
Report Database System (RDS) is a datamart that is a denormalized snapshot of your transactional database and gives you the ability to easily build and run reports in a secure manner without disrupting the performance of your production system.
RDS is specially formatted for easy reporting by flattening out the table structure so that your users do not need to be database experts in order to link tables and create ad hoc reports.
In addition, security can be established within SQL Server to allow access to RDS and deny access to the transactional database, which is best practice for security and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
Another very important benefit of RDS is that it can be off-loaded onto a separate server so that report processing does not disrupt the performance of your application server.
Reporting Portal for an Optimal Customer Experience
Report Distribution Manager™ (RDM) is a web-based reporting portal that allows you to offer on-line access to user-defined Crystal reports based on any data source, and this data source may or may not include LeaseTeam products.
These reports can be run on demand or scheduled to run, and can be one-off reports or set on a recurring basis. RDM effectively gives you the ability to provide information to your internal employees, customers, vendors, funding sources, or whomever you decide, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
