Russ Hallberg | President and Co-founder

Russ Hallberg, President of LeaseTeam, is responsible for the development of high level strategy and major decisions as well as high level management of the company’s operations. In addition, Russ also plays a key role in product design for LeasePlus and Lease Sales Manager products as well as the new ASPIRE product. Russ has also applied his diagnostic and solution oriented abilities to help more than 100 LeaseTeam clients in designing business specific solutions to meet their unique needs, which address issues such as standardization of reporting procedures, meeting financial objectives through LeaseTeam products, and automation of business processes.

Prior to joining LeaseTeam in 1989, Russ was a Senior Tax Manager with the public accounting firm, Seim, Johnson, Sestak & Quist. Russ began his career in the public accounting sector in 1979. Russ has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from the University of Nebraska and is a member of several equipment leasing organizations. He is also a member of the Omaha Chamber of Commerce.

Randy Haug | Sr. Vice President and Co-founder

Randy Haug, has 27 years of experience in the leasing and equipment finance industry. He started his career in 1984 with Lease Solutions as a division sales manager.

In January of 1989, Randy co-founded LeaseTeam. Randy is one of the founding members of NEFA, and in 2010, Randy served as NEFA president. Randy is also heavily involved with the ELFA and the CFLA. Randy was a founding member of the ELFA’s Service Provider Steering Committee and served on the ELFA’s Membership Committee. Randy is also a committee member, a panelist and an invited industry speaker for the CFLA.

Randy is involved with various other industry panels/roundtables, boards and sub-committees, as well as authoring articles for leading industry publications. He works closely with the association committees to assist in producing informative sessions, workshops and industry networking events.

Randy currently oversees the market direction and strategies of LeaseTeam, and advising LeaseTeam clients regarding their business issues and strategies.

Jeff Van Slyke | Vice President of Business Development and Strategy

Jeff got his start in the leasing industry in 1994 with LeaseTeam, where he served as an account manager responsible for the management of LeasePlus implementations. In May of 2004,  Jeff rejoined LeaseTeam as the product manager for Lease Sales Manager where he was responsible for setting the strategic vision and development priorities for the Lease Sales Manager product. Currently, Jeff is serving as Vice President of Business Development & Strategy where he is responsible for the following operational areas; sales and marketing, client services, human resources and accounting.

Jeff is also actively involved in the overall product direction and strategy at LeaseTeam. Jeff received his MBA from the University of Nebraska – Omaha and he is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, A business school honorary society.

Dan O'Malley | Vice President of Software Development

Dan is an expert on software development and design methodologies, database architectures, and emerging Internet and enterprise-computing technologies. He has more than 15 years of experience in the information technology industry. He began his career as a computer programmer on a data warehouse team for Cinmar, an Ohio-based company. Dan has spent the last 11 years with LeaseTeam. He began his career with LeaseTeam as a software developer and now oversees LeaseTeam’s corporate software development process, quality assurance and system implementations. Dan holds a Bachelors degree in Management Information Systems from Miami University - Oxford, Ohio

Bryan Hunt | Director of Sales

Bryan joined LeaseTeam in May 2006. He spent the last nine years in the rental industry, most recently holding the position of District Manager with United Rentals, where he oversaw operations of 12 area branches. Prior to that, Hunt spent three years in sales at Rental Service Corporation. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration – Marketing from Huntingdon College in Montgomery, Alabama. Bryan is the Director of Sales where he is responsible for the development, growth and management of all sales aspects for LeaseTeam.

Heather Yard | Director of Client and Professional Services

Heather joined LeaseTeam in October 2011 as Director of Client and Professional Services. A native of Nebraska, Heather is a graduate of the University of Nebraska. Heather has over twenty-five years of leadership experience in the financial payments and software industry. Heather’s career is highlighted by significant executive leadership positions in client services. Heather has always been a customer advocate and is very passionate about providing quality customer support.

Roxana Safranek | Director of Marketing

Roxana joined LeaseTeam in February, 2011 as Director of Marketing.  Roxana has over 15 years of marketing experience with 11 of those years being in the software industry. Roxana is a certified marketing professional, in both traditional and electronic marketing, and has authored many articles and spoke on various marketing topics. 

Roxana received her bachelors degree from the University of Nebraska and has various certifications.  Roxana is responsible for marketing, communication and business development for LeaseTeam and is commited to sharing her knowledge to help others in the Leasing Industry implement marketing strategies that will help them grow their business.
