ELA's 2006 Operations & Technology Conference
On September 18, Randy Haug and Ruth Anderson led a break-out session at EAEL’s annual EXPO in Teaneck, NJ. They spoke on marketing in today’s fast-paced world. Different types of marketing and the pro’s and con’s of each were presented.
Haug and Anderson then gave tips on how to do each type of marketing well, how to budget for your marketing efforts and how to measure success. The presentation included a discussion of the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003, how to build a Web site on a very limited budget, and what to include in e-mail marketing to increase deliverability and readability. The session was well attended by EAEL EXPO attendees.
UAEL Volunteer of the Month
Ruth Anderson, Manager of Marketing & Communication was named Volunteer of the Month by the UAEL in June for her outstanding contributions to the organization.
Ruth's volunteerism supported UAEL by helping produce the yearly printed publication of NEWSline. She also helped UAEL to generate marketing materials for the NEWSline publications and for other marketing needs.
Ruth possesses a Bachelor of Science in Advertising Journalism from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and has more than 18 years of experience in the marketing and communications fields.
Before joining LeaseTeam, Anderson worked in the insurance industry for 12 years.
